If you are purchasing recreational marijuana you do not need to be certified, you only need a valid government issued ID.

To obtain your Michigan Medical Marijuana Card, you can apply online or go to this website and print out a copy of the MMMp Application Packet. This packet contains three forms: a checklist, The Patient Information Form, and a Physician Certification Form. Fill out the Patient Information Form and take the Doctor Certification Form to your certified Michigan physician or a physician at a certification center, such as Intessa Certification Center. After your Application Packet is completed, please send it priority mail to the address provided on your application as well as a $40 check or money order. In about 3 weeks, if approved, you will receive your Michigan Medical Marijuana Card in the mail.
