Do you accept temporary paperwork for medical cards?

Yes. If you have applied for your card (or renewal) online, the state is now issuing temporary paperwork via email that is good for 10 days.

Note that valid temporary paperwork should contain your patient registry number on it and is different than your receipt for payment.
